Ms Peh Reflection on the Prefectorial Board Team Bonding Camp – “BOAL”

3 June 2010 (Thursday) is a special day. Prefectorial Board held its augural one day camp “BOAL” on this day.  This idea to hold a one day camp started last year. I noticed, besides the prefect meeting, fellow prefects have very few chances to meet one another. Prefects need to have more opportunities to meet and bond. Hence, I proposed this idea of having a team bonding camp to Mr Tan Ying Kiat during PSLE marking in 2009. A large amount of background work is done to bring about this camp. It started with the sourcing of fund, begging Mdm Lim and Mr Loh for money. We looked out for vendors for the camp. A few weeks before the camp, preparation of the camp begins; booking of the facilities, sending out of consent forms, collecting of cheques (big headache) and catering of food.  It is hard work.

But it is worth it when I see many happy faces and you enjoying yourselves. Through the activities, you have learnt about yourself, you get to know one another fellow prefects better. You have worked together as a team to complete a structure within the limitation. You have made an achievement. :D

But good time is always short. All good things come to an end. Prefectorial Board augural one day camp “BOAL” has come to an end. I hope it has brought you sweet memories.

Drop me a comment and share with me how do you think about the camp.
1. Do you like the camp? What do you like about the camp?
2. Would you want to have another similar camp next year?
3. What is the greatest lesson you have learnt from the camp?
4. Are there ways to improve the camp? Tell me how?
Remember to include your name and class.
